RSS Feeds
Did you know through use of Simple Mobile Web Configuration (AspectFT – DYK vol.1), any data point or change to a data point within the system can be exposed as an RSS Feed. This means getting temperature stats, energy readings, alarms, or any other data point directly to your computer. This does not require direct log-in access to the system and can be implemented to reduce end-user training costs and better secure you system by reducing the number of users that require direct access.
Simple Mobile Web
Did you know that you can configure an Aspect Server product to allow mobile devices to view information from your building automation system? Starting in v1.02, Aspect Server products provide mobile web users access to the building automation system. Leveraging the power of its integrated MySQL database, AspectFT, at the Facility and Enterprise level, exposes any data point stored within tables and generates simple, but effective text-based pages that most limited browsers can view.
