The SAGEMAX is a communications-intensive field panel offering powerful programming capabilities. This product is ideal for stand-alone control and monitoring applications, or it can be used in a small network, several small networks or a large, high-performance local area network such as Ethernet. By configuring the SAGEMAX properly, AAM controller points connected to the SAGEMAX can be displayed on the BACnet network as AAM BACnet points. Conversely, the SAGEMAX can receive BACnet points from the BACnet network and utilize that information in its programs. A device residing on a BACnet network may act as a client, server or both a client and a server.
